Angela Daaboul holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Université Saint-Joseph de Beirut in conjunction with Université de Genève. Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she has seven years of clinical experience in Lebanon and Bahrain, working in community settings, university counseling centers, and private clinics. In Canada, she provided single-session telephonic counseling before joining CPB.
Angela offers culturally sensitive therapy to a diverse clientele in French, English, and Arabic focusing on anxiety disorders, grief, trauma and stress. Her diverse background enables her to bring a unique perspective to her practice, creating an inclusive space for clients to explore their challenges while working towards personal growth.
Angela’s approach is built on collaboration, psychoeducation, fostering self-compassion, and strengthening interpersonal relationships. Angela uses cognitive interventions to help clients gain insight into their thoughts and their strengths. She also integrates mindfulness exercises, visualisation, and relaxation to manage stress and improve emotional regulation. Angela also incorporates various elements from her specialized trainings, adapting her approach to best serve each client’s unique needs.
Angela is currently pursuing licensure as a psychologist in Quebec, working under the supervision of Dr Ghassan Baalbaki, a renowned licensed psychologist and professor, to ensure highest-quality care for her clients.
